Blue Spill partners with Fine Point Films and Director Ryan Suffern on Billion Dollar Dancer, Sky’s latest feature documentary exploring the extraordinary life and career of Irish dance legend Michael Flatley, best known for Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.

To complement the tone of the film, we crafted a series of elegant newspaper headline animations and photo treatments – designed to reflect the sophistication and grandeur of Flatley’s personal and professional world. This stylistic approach extended into the pre-title archive sequence, creating a cohesive, polished montage that set the tone for the feature.

Across the project, Blue Spill delivered over 45 bespoke graphic elements and sequences, utilising a REC709 workflow in Adobe After Effects and Autodesk Flame to ensure consistency and visual excellence throughout.
