Blue Spill were privileged to join Luke Sewell and Minnow Films for their feature documentary “Trust No One: The Hunt For The Crypto King” the story and conspiracy theories behind the disappearance of Gerald Cotten, CEO & founder of Cryptocurrency exchange website Quadriga CX.
Trust No One: The Hunt For The Crypto King to date is Blue Spill’s largest show, in terms of graphical and VFX requirement, working very closely with Luke in establishing a clean and very real experience as our story tellers would delve into various websites, looking for ways to figure out Gerald Cotten’s potential whereabouts.
It was paramount that every graphical element and VFX composite were consistent with the story’s narrative, enhancing our story teller’s screen time; Including website recreation (Youtube, Reddit, Telegram & Facebook), archive document treatment/recreation and VFX composites where laptop/monitor screens throughout the film would require a very specific screen insert to follow with that particular story teller’s narrative.
Blue Spill delivered in total 118 graphic shots/elements & 32 VFX composites in UHD using a ACES workflow in Adobe After Effects & Autodesk Flame.
