Blue Spill worked with Passion Pictures (John Battsek and George Chignell) and director Stephen Kijak to create around twenty minutes of in film sequences for Stones in Exile. Executive produced by Mick Jagger, the film details the making of Exile on Mainstreet, during Stones’s exile to the south of France.

The following are examples of our contact print sequences. We were fortunate during the creation of the sequence to have access to the original high res contact prints, and driven by the Stones incredible music we were able to move freely around the images to re-create the narrative of the moment. Additional composites of the beautiful crayon textures assist in bringing the prints alive and allowing them a distinct and authentic aesthetic.

The sequences were designed by Allison Brownmoore.
